“Several years ago, I had a frequent reoccurring dream in which I was in a vast landscape formed only of books.
The ground was paved with books, the mountains made of them. Everything was made of billions of books. There were beaches of books upon which the sea tide came in with a delicate perfect purity of transparences. Reigning overall was the Tower of Babel.
Dream analysis necessitates a good base knowledge of the famous psychoanalyst quartet: Freud, Jung, Lacan and Alder.
A book typically represents the knowledge of a subject. Several books can represent a library of knowledge. I remember in my dreams I would walk into rooms where there were only books, books and more books, room after room.
We accumulate during our lifetime billions of parcels of information, of souvenirs, of laws, of principles coming from education, culture, country, the epoch in which we live, our religion and so on…
When we observe all these memories with detachment, we see that all this gathering of information is simply the time that we have constructed for ourselves with our personal moments of memory.
Out of this memory, there is no time anymore. Thus, begins our trip into immensity.”
